SCOPE OF WORK:
The Lake Worth Multi-Purpose Building is comprised of three areas: L.O. Bud Irby Senior Center,
Multi-Purpose area, and the Mary Lou Reddick Library. In general, the work of this
Contract comprises general construction of the following:
• Senior Center – Approximately 3,190 SF of interior cosmetic upgrades to the floor, base, wall and ceiling. Upgrade interior lighting to be LED. New plumbing fixtures at existing locations. No demolition of walls. Existing millwork is to be replaced or refinished in the same location.
• Multi-Purpose Area – Approximately 3,907 SF of interior cosmetic upgrades to the floor, base, wall, and ceiling. Upgrade interior lighting to be LED. No demolition of walls. The existing millwork is to be replaced in the same location. New plumbing fixtures in existing locations.
• Library – Approximately 5,565 SF of interior cosmetic upgrades to the floor, base, wall and ceiling. Upgrade interior lighting to be LED and add new fixture locations. No demolition of existing walls. Adding two rooms and a partial height wall. New millwork. New plumbing fixtures in existing locations.
PRE-BID DATE AND LOCATION:
A non-mandatory, pre-proposal meeting will be held, Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. on January 17, 2023, at the Lake Worth Multi-Purpose Building, Mary Lou Reddick Library, at 7005 Charboneau Drive, Lake Worth, TX 76135. This will be the only time available for contractors to see the buildings prior to bidding.
